I can agree with the information Deb has posted! Appriox. 90% of buyers use the internet first – but approx. 65% of those buyers are searching for experts in the areas they are interested in. Their google searches are based on those areas. Adwords.google.com is your best source. Look at how many people are trying to be found first as a specialist with the key words Somerville, Massachusetts real estate! Expertise sells. Keep up the good work Deb!

Thanks for your comment. Somerville is made up of many diverse areas with different characters. . . Porter Square, Davis Square, Teele Square, Ball Square etc. and each one has it’s own flavor. Most buyers are looking for a specific area and not at the city as a whole. Also, IMHO text messaging has shown us that people look for the easiest way to do something. “02143″ is a heck of a lot shorter than putting in “Somerville, MA” in a search. Again, it also lets people hone in on exactly the area they are looking for.

Unfortunately, nobody searches for those terms. Do you come up for Somerville, Massachusetts real estate? THAT’S what counts, not obscure searches.
