I’ve just returned from an ERA conference. Sometimes we seem so busy in our life that it almost feels impossible to get away. No matter how difficult it seems, I have found every conference I’ve gone to extremely useful. Yes, sometimes it is hard to stay in one seat for hours at a time - after all, it’s been quite a while since I’ve been a student, but I always walk away with something of value. Sometimes I learn something new and sometimes it’s something I’ve heard before, but now I’m ready to really understand and use the tool. I find it’s very exciting to be an adult learner - you’re in class to learn something you’re extremely interested in!
