Good for you for wanting to start doing videos of your listings. I began adding in videos to my marketing mix a year ago and feel they were very instrumental in my having an average day on market of 44 for 2008. WellcomeMat is a real estate video website. Not only can you post your videos here, but they have a good list of videographers and you can search by zip code. I found 4 people in the Charlotte area you could check out (but unfortunately it wouldn’t give me a link to the search results so you’ll have to do the search yourself).

That’s a very generous referral fee but ERA is tied in with Cartis as well.

Very helpful, thanks! I just set up an account with Facebook and had some doubts about sharing so much personal stuff with “friends of friends”. None of their business, I thought. This will address my concerns and place me more in control. That’s good.

BTW..I am a residential real estate agent in Charlotte, NC (Coldwell Banker United). I want to start doing videos on all of my listings where it makes sense (e.g. >$300K). I have not found a source for taking and editing the videos. Can you share a name(s) of perhaps someone who does work in the Charlotte area, or who could recommend someone? I’ll continue to research also.

Also, if you know of anyone looking to relocate to the Charlotte area, please consider sending a referral this way. With business being down so much these days, I’m willing to pay a 40% referral fee. What relocation network does your company use? If it is Cartis, we may have to go through them.
