It seems like life just keeps getting busier and busier. Do you ever feel if you wrote down everything you’re “supposed to” or “need” to accomplish that you’d never stop writing, never mind finish the list? Okay, so it’s good to know I’m not alone.

6 months ago Frank’s beautiful mother, Lucia, died after a 2 1/2 year battle with a cancerous brain tumor. She taught me so many valuable lessons about how to live life and how to leave life. Even though she left Sicily over 40 years ago, she still kept in close contact with her childhood friends, her work friends and all of the many friends she made living here.

With Mammuza as our inspiration, Frank and I set aside time each week for what we want to do - get together with friends. I don’t want to be so busy “doing” that I forget to “be”!
