I am proud to live in Medford. . . Medford, Massachusetts. To be fair, I haven’t visited any other Medfords yet. I don’t know which Medford Printing Company put out the Medford Tribune, but I was surprised to be walking through the Rome Airport and saw this photo of smiling Medfordites (whether they be from MA, OR, NJ, WI, or MN - who knew there were so many Medfords!) holding up these newspapers about the Alied invasion of Sicily. What a cool way to combine our hometown with my husband’s parents’ birthplace - Sicily.
